As of January 2002 students of FDTKD are required to learn both the FDTKD & Unified-ITF self-defense techniques prior to their next rank promotion. The addition of the Unified-ITF techniques is to provide students with additional resources and concepts for self-defense applications.

The 10 Black Belt self-defense techniques provided by the Unified-ITF were amended to this page on 3/20/02.
